Take Action – Support a Quieter Glen Abbey

We encourage all Glen Abbey residents and supporters of our cause to get involved. Here are concrete steps you can take to help permanently end the pickleball noise in our community:

  • Contact the HOA Board: Write a polite but firm email to our HOA Board and property management, urging them to enforce our covenants and find a noise solution. Let them know how the pickleball noise has impacted your family and that you expect the Board to take action. You can email board@glenabbeyhoa.com and our community manager at staylor@cmacommunities.com. Hearing from many residents will underscore the urgency. (Feel free to cc us at the Quiet Committee – we’re happy to compile resident feedback.)

  • Attend the Next HOA Meeting: When this issue is on the agenda, a strong turnout will send a message. Prepare a short statement about your experience, or simply show up in solidarity with “Quiet Glen Abbey” neighbors. We’ll post meeting dates and times on this site. Public comment time is typically available – it’s a great opportunity to voice concerns directly to the Board and fellow members.

  • Spread the Word: Talk to your neighbors, especially those who may not be online often. Make sure they understand the issue isn’t just “a few people complaining.” Share the facts: the legal noise violations, the potential hit to property values, and the easy availability of alternatives. Often, once people learn the full story, they support our cause. You can also share our website link.

  • Join the Quiet Committee: We have a resident-led “Quiet Glen Abbey” committee coordinating this initiative. If you’re passionate about preserving the peaceful character of our neighborhood, we’d love your help. Whether it’s volunteering to measure noise levels, helping with communications, or just adding your perspective, you are welcome. Contact us at quietglenabbey@gmail.com to be added to our email list for updates. Even simply staying informed strengthens our collective effort.

  • Sign the Petition

Together, we can protect the sanctity of our homes and ensure Glen Abbey remains a desirable, tranquil place to live. Thank you for your support in bringing back the quiet!
