Real estate impact

I’m a local Realtor and work primarily in North Fulton with clients who are spending $1-4m. There are very, very few neighborhoods that offer Pickleball for this very reason and I have never had a client specifically reach out to me looking for a neighborhood that offers pickleball in the same manner that they do looking for a swim/Tennis neighborhood.

I genuinely feel for our neighbors who are around the linear courts as this is vastly going to affect their home value if this goes through.

I also think we all need to consider what this may do for home values if we have another assessment. If anyone is looking to sell, we have to disclose if the community is going through an assessment and if our dues are going up. If our dues get close to the $2000 mark, I think that will be something that buyers will take into consideration as they look at neighboring communities with lower dues.
